DECO-MAGS are a decorative product, intended for application on metal surfaces only
*Use geometric design on magnets for easy, straight cutting
Do NOT place DECO-MAGS in the direct sun or on hot surfaces
DECO-MAGS are easily cleaned up with a damp sponge. Don't use harsh chemicals on DECO-MAGS
It is best to use two people to apply LARGE DECO-MAGS to large surfaces.
One person should hold the top of the magnet and the other to guide the magnet into place.
MEASURE AND MAKE A PATTERN
Some appliances and metal furniture have emblems and hardware that prevent DECO-MAGS from laying flat. Sometimes there are areas that
need to be cut out like water and ice dispensers. Measure the area that needs to be cut out or carefully make a pattern with a piece of tracing
paper. Mark the area to be cut out on the back of the magnet (the dark side) with a pencil. Carefully cut the area out with a razor knife.
DECO-MAGS will "stick" to walls that are painted with MAGNETIC PAINT! You Tube Video:

three coats of a brand I bought at my home center and it was strong enough to hold the large magnets!)
IF DECO-MAGS DON'T STRAIGHTEN OUT OR HAVE A BUBBLE UNDER LARGE MAGNET SURFACE OR YOU WANT THEM PLACED ON A
CURVED APPLIANCE
EDGES OF APPLIANCES OR GET RID OF POTENTIAL BUBBLES WHEN APPLIED TO LARGE SURFACES! IT REALLY WORKS!
*CAUTION! When heating magnets with a dryer, they can get hot. Use medium/low heat and don't over-heat the magnets.
If you use DECO-MAGS correctly and carefully, you can add our magnetic surface to an appliance that looks like you spent hundreds of
dollars on an expensive panel kit. Use rulers and make patterns with plain paper or tracing paper (if necessary) to cut out areas for
hardware, emblems or an ice/water dispenser.
**Occasionally we have found "DEAD SPOTS" on a refrigerator, usually around the ice machine (on the side) where the magnet will not attach enough to keep it in place. If this occurs;
1. Heat it with a blow dryer. It might stick then.
2. For example, if the strip that goes along the side of the ice maker to cover it is not staying on, you might need to use a simple piece of clear tape to discreetly keep it in
place. The smaller the strip is, the easier it is to secure. Consider cutting it in half then taping in place. Thanks for your patience...this happens occasionally.
